Energy-based bond graph models of glucose transport with SLC transporters
===========================================================================
We present the parameterized bond graph models for facilitated diffusion with
SLC2A2 (GLUT2)
and electrogenic cotransport with SLC5A1 (SGLT1) transporters. The bond graphs
are placed are in the folders <Facilitated transporter>
and <Electrogenic cotransporter>, respectively.
Facilitated transporter
===========================
The main CellML_ files are:

- `The steady-state model derived from the bond graph GLUT2 with the variation of intracellular concentration of glucose <Facilitated transporter/ GLUT2_ss_io.cellml>`_,
- `The steady-state model derived from the bond graph GLUT2 with the variation of extracellular concentration of glucose <Facilitated transporter/ GLUT2_ss_oi.cellml>`_,
- `The steady-state kinetic models <Facilitated transporter/ GLUT2_kinetic.cellml>`_ in `Lowe and Walmsley (1986)`_,
- `The parameter file of the bond graph model GLUT2 <Facilitated transporter/ params_BG.cellml>`_ ,
- `The unit definition file for GLUT2 <Facilitated transporter/ units.cellml>`_.
Electrogenic cotransporter
===========================

- `The steady-state model derived from the bond graph SGLT1 with fast binding/unbinding parameters <Electrogenic cotransporter/ SGLT1_ss_fast.cellml>`_ ,
- `The parameter file for the bond graph model SGLT1 <Electrogenic cotransporter/ params_BG.cellml>`_ ,

The corresponding SED-ML_ files can be used to run simulations in OpenCOR_.
